Safira Gabrielle

Welcome to my about page!

I'm a professional singer, songwriter, and performer with English, Celtic, and Arabic/Sudanese roots.

Music has always been a part of me. From a young age, I was drawn to melody and rhythm, developing a natural love for performance that has shaped who I am today.

Professional Experience

With over a decade of performance experience and extensive professional training, I bring a refined, versatile, and high-level approach to live vocals.

Before beginning my university training, I built a strong foundation as a performer based in Cambridge. From a young age, I trained and performed across singing, dance, and theatre, with experience in choirs, ensembles, duos, and group performances from the age of 10.

I performed regularly at local events including fêtes, fairs, festivals, and carnivals, developing confidence on stage early on. Alongside this, I trained with professional choreographers, including West End creatives and former cruise performers, gaining insight into industry-level performance standards.

At 15, I competed in the UK Unsigned competition, reaching the Grand Final, and was also selected to train at the highly competitive Urdang Academy. I later went on to complete a two-year International Baccalaureate in Performing Arts, Dance, and Theatre Arts, continuing to train with professional musicians, choreographers, and acting practitioners while performing consistently.

Following this, I went on to study at BIMM London, completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Popular Music Performance (Vocals). During this time, I performed extensively across London at graduations, showcases, and live band events, including performances at notable venues such as Outernet London and the Southbank Centre.

My training covered a wide range of disciplines including live performance, vocal technique and anatomy, songwriting, music production, band work, and the psychology and business of the music industry. Working closely with active industry professionals—including vocal coaches, touring musicians, and experienced performers—allowed me to refine not only my voice, but my understanding of performance, collaboration, and vocal health at a professional level.

Today, I bring this depth of training and experience into every performance. I am not only a professional singer, but an actively developing artist, continuously refining my craft to deliver polished, meaningful, and high-quality live music.

My Style & Values

For me, music is more than sound — it’s about connection, storytelling, and creating the right atmosphere. I draw from a range of genres including Pop, Soul, R&B, Jazz, blues, Acoustic ballads, as well as House and Garage, allowing each performance to feel versatile, natural, and unique to the moment.

At the core of my work are three key principles:

Authenticity
Every performance is guided by genuine emotion and a deep respect for the music. I focus on creating a natural, heartfelt sound — reading the room and shaping each moment through tone, mood, and delivery.

Collaboration
I value strong, creative partnerships with clients, musicians, and event organisers. By working closely together, each performance feels personal, intentional, and tailored to your vision.

Professionalism
I approach every event with care, reliability, and attention to detail. From planning through to performance, my aim is to create a smooth, enjoyable experience where you feel confident, supported, and able to fully enjoy the moment.

If you’re looking for soulful vocals, authentic energy, and a performer who truly cares about your event, I’d love to be part of it
